Artistic Discoveries in European Schoolyards

Budapest

Welcome on the Platform …

We start our fascinating journey through the European Schoolyards here in Budapest. Almost 100 artists from different countries in Europe and South-America are coming together for a Platform encounter for the first time. We are curious to get to know you and to encourage you to make friends with your colleagues. And don’t think that you are the only one who feels insecure due to your limited English. Nobody’s English is perfect – except for our English friends – if we seem to be torturing that lovely language please remember that we are doing so for an extremely good reason, we are trying to get inspiring conversations happening, we are trying to communicate. European English is our vehicle – let’s drive it like a bat out of hell.

We have to forward the first big thanks to our hosts, the Kolibris! The friendly and forever supportative Kolibri staff did a great job in preparing this Annual Encounter with us. Right from the beginning we talked the same language and worked wonderfully together. We learnt a lot from our Hungarian host , thanks to all you Kolibris for that.

I hope  you will have some exceptional days in Budapest and that you’ll benefit from your stay on the platform, which we are trying to create for and with you as enjoyably and efficiently as possible.
