Read more …What has happened during the second week of the plein air on the beautiful hillside of Teatro O Bando? First of all, the thirteen visual artists from twelve European countries worked hard on their spots. Some even nearly finished their artistic installations as Lörinc Boros from the Kolibri theatre in Budapest, Hungary. L?rinc had the idea to built a tram on his spot. This tram is completely covered by green good smelling grass. Inspired by Trams in Budapest and Lisbon, as well as in the play text ’Emil and the detectives’ (Hungarian National PLATFORM 11+ production) he wanted to create a Tram coming out of the hillside – a structure where audience and actors can interact.
Read more …On June 7, 2010 the three week plein air has started – in Palmela, Portugal. The creation of works of visual art / new media for the target group is one of the main goals of Platform 11+. Thirteen visual artists (painter, graphic, illustrator, new media artist, photographer, sculptor etc) from twelve European countries work here in Palmela on themes referring to the schoolyard research and the new theatre texts. Their works will be exhibited on 24 June 2010.

Read more …On Wednesday, 9 June 2010, the group went to a school near Palmela cooperating with Platform11+. There was magic in the air when the head of the school, teachers and their pupils welcomed the artists. It was quite an emotional moment when teachers expressed their feelings about the positive impact of Platform11+ on pupils and their parents.
After a short performance of the youngster, the puppets from the stepping exhibition from England had been handed over to the excited kids.
